worth a look: scientific animation

I wanted to take a minute to step outside the architecture/real estate/interior design realm by posting an interesting animation that I came across today. It is a 4-minute clip describing Curiousity, the next Mars rover mission. Not only is it an amazing (and super easy-to-understand) explanation worth sharing, but it’s also worth noting that it was created using Lightwave 3D, the same software that we use at Capital Pixel to create architectural visualizations.

One of the greatest parts about 3D animation is that it allows complex information, and events that we could not otherwise imagine, to be broken down into simple visuals that make sense to nearly everyone.
